類入圍獎后，其創始人兼總裁王傳福摘得今年的“扎耶德未來能
源獎”個人終身成就獎，并獲得50萬美元獎金。

比亞迪創立于1995年，分別在香港聯合交易所及深圳證券交易所上市，主要從事以二次充電電池業務，手機、電腦零部件及組裝業務為主的IT產業，以及包含傳統燃油汽車及新能源汽車在內的汽車產業，并利用自身技術優勢積極發展包括太陽能電站、儲能電站、LED及電動叉車在內的其他新能源產品。目前，比亞迪現有員工約18萬人，總占面積地近1700 萬平方米，在全球建立了22個生產基地。
